THE DOMES are a series of award-winning immersive worlds. Users experience a series of nostalgic immersive experiences which are accessed using the latest mixed reality headsets. All of these experiences have been specifically designed and co-created with those over 50 years old and those with potential limited mobility.

With a focus on reducing loneliness, social isolation, risk factors for dementia and aiding stroke survivors recovery, users will be able to experience initially four highly-curated, evidence-led and purposeful Domes which include:

  • Community Dome: The beating heart of our platform, where consumers can congregate with friends and family, play a game of chess and step back into time to the 1950s through a nostalgic cultural exhibition.
  • Cultural Dome: Experience our community-led, immersive art gallery and become inspired through art pieces with which you can interact and enter.
  • Health & Fitness Dome: Specifically curated for those over 50 years old, experience interactive exercise classes, mindfulness and meditation.
  • Education & Events Dome: Home to our living healthy space with support for mental health, addictions, obesity, brain health and smoking.

We recognise virtual reality can be a daunting experience for some first-time users. At Community Care Gaming we have tested our platform relentlessly with consumers, to ensure the experience is fulfilling, purposeful and familiar. THE DOMES is a digital asset proudly and exclusively owned by and operated by us specifically for those aged 50 years and over.

Access to THE DOMES will be initially restricted to facilitated group discovery workshops, delivered by the Community Care Gaming team or those holding a Level 3 qualification in VR Healthcare, with residents or patients in their healthcare setting.

Pricing

Community Care Gaming is transforming wellbeing and enrichment activities in care homes and home/domiciliary care settings through the lease of VR equipment and the delivery of a Level 3 qualification in VR Healthcare for professionals. To provide a purposeful addition to your enrichment activities we invite you to become one of our growing number of partners.

Starting from as little as £100 per month we will:

  • Deliver the Level 3 qualification in VR Healthcare at your premises to your team.
  • Enable access to our virtual learning environment (VLE) for your team.
  • Set up and provide you with all the hardware so you can deliver weekly workshops with confidence to those in your care.
  • Provide you with unlimited technical support in the unlikely event something goes wrong.
  • Support you to create inclusive experiences for multi-site providers, brining your care community together.

All of the above is covered in our standard rate card pricing. Prices have a small degree of flexibility and are fixed around the number of VR devices and length of agreement.
