Join our Team

At Community Care Gaming we are always on the lookout for people who truly get what it takes to establish a start-up. All our team started out as volunteers before moving into their respective role. If you feel you might be able to help us, we would love to hear from you, please email our founder Lee Willows at lee@communitycaregaming.org for an informal chat.

We have the following roles available:

Chair, Advisory Group
(click to reveal)
Chair, Advisory Group

We are looking for a highly organised, hands-on founding, Advisory Group Chair, to establish, recruit members and then lead an Advisory Group.

Our team will work with you as Chair to scope and share insights for the Advisory Group to ensure we are able to attract a diverse range of voices, skills, expertise and those with lived experience. To maintain focus we would propose the Advisory Group has an initial focus on:

  1. Expert counsel, advice and hands-on assistance to deliver our research, evaluation and fundraising programme.
  2. Expert counsel, advise and hands-on assistance to develop our technology and platforms.
  3. Expert counsel, advise and hand-on assistance with periodic workshops, events and comms work to help us scale our reach and build awareness of our organisation.

It is our desire that our Founding Chair has a strong health background as a clinician or senior leader from within the sector. We welcome applicants who are just starting out on their career, or those who are established within the sector.

Community Care Gaming will deliver the following impact in 2025/26

Community Care Gaming will develop, deliver, evaluate, and share learnings from products that we have carefully researched and mapped into our organisational theory of change. Maintaining  absolute focus, commissioning the independent academic evidence-base where it doesn’t exist, working positively and collaboratively with partners and having the ability to independently measure our impact will guide our work in year-three.

Aman Govani
Volunteer

Aman, a second-year law student at City University of London, has showcased his competitive spirit by participating in a myriad of games representing his university. After securing podium finishes for two consecutive seasons, he was then elected to a prominent role in both the university's esports and chess societies as society vice president and president respectively.

Mr Nathan Edmonds, Marketing Director
Leading on Marketing and Communications

Nathan, founder and CEO of Get In, a digital marketing agency and Sweet Cabin, a sweet delivery business, has worked in the gaming and esports industry for over a decade now.

Passionate about helping the next generation as well as breaking down stereotypes around esports, he supports Community Care Gaming in a multitude of different facets. You'll see him around at all the different events we attend, heading up our VR headset technology.

Maya Szollosy-Jancso
Leading on Research

Maya has recently completed her university studies in Biological Sciences BSc at Durham University, becoming the first in her family to do so. Having taken up the role of Sponsorship Secretary and Publicity Officer for the university's esports club, Maya has been pivotal for the club's success in the past year and has asserted herself as a prominent figure in university esports. Through her passion and dedication, Maya co-organised various grassroots esports tournaments, taking up roles in graphics and partnerships, and was selected as part of the NSE Intel FutureGen cohort of 2024. Her continual commitment to esports and love for the natural sciences has led Maya to join the Community Care Gaming team where she aspires to make a difference.
