At Community Care Gaming we are always on the lookout for people who truly get what it takes to establish a start-up. All our team started out as volunteers before moving into their respective role. We are looking for a highly organised, hands-on founding, Advisory Group Chair, to establish, recruit members and then lead an Advisory Group.
Our team will work with you as Chair to scope and share insights for the Advisory Group to ensure we are able to attract a diverse range of voices, skills, expertise and those with lived experience. To maintain focus we would propose the Advisory Group has an initial focus on:
It is our desire that our Founding Chair has a strong health background as a clinician or senior leader from within the sector. We welcome applicants who are just starting out on their career, or those who are established within the sector.

Strategic executive leader with more than 20 years of board-level leadership across the gambling, charity, health, education and technology sectors. Founder of YGAM and Community Care Gaming, recognised for developing nationally recognised safer gambling initiatives, influencing public policy, securing major partnerships, and leading evidence-based programmes that deliver measurable social impact. Experienced in governance, stakeholder engagement, research & research commissioning, evaluation, fundraising & commissioning, business development and international organisational growth.
Aman Govani
Volunteer
Aman, a second-year law student at City University of London, has showcased his competitive spirit by participating in a myriad of games representing his university. After securing podium finishes for two consecutive seasons, he was then elected to a prominent role in both the university's esports and chess societies as society vice president and president respectively.
Mr Nathan Edmonds, Marketing Director
Leading on Marketing and Communications
Nathan, founder and CEO of Get In, a digital marketing agency and Sweet Cabin, a sweet delivery business, has worked in the gaming and esports industry for over a decade now.
Passionate about helping the next generation as well as breaking down stereotypes around esports, he supports Community Care Gaming in a multitude of different facets. You'll see him around at all the different events we attend, heading up our VR headset technology.
Maya Szollosy-Jancso
Leading on Research
Maya has recently completed her university studies in Biological Sciences BSc at Durham University, becoming the first in her family to do so. Having taken up the role of Sponsorship Secretary and Publicity Officer for the university's esports club, Maya has been pivotal for the club's success in the past year and has asserted herself as a prominent figure in university esports. Through her passion and dedication, Maya co-organised various grassroots esports tournaments, taking up roles in graphics and partnerships, and was selected as part of the NSE Intel FutureGen cohort of 2024. Her continual commitment to esports and love for the natural sciences has led Maya to join the Community Care Gaming team where she aspires to make a difference.
Adrian Sladdin
Leads on partnership building within the Private Healthcare Sector
Adrian has spent the last 12 years specialising in
education, training and awareness around safer gambling and harm minimisation.
Using his curriculum development and training background, he co-founded YGAM
(Young Gamblers Education Trust), creating a ground-breaking programme for
young people and their educators. He wrote a sector-first qualification for the
then Ladbrokes Coral group entitled ‘Keeping Colleagues & Customers Safe’,
a level 2 outcome for betting shop managers. He subsequently trained many of
the biggest online and land-based operators and continues to develop innovative
training programmes for the industry as a director at Community Care Gaming.
Expert in training, research, codes of conduct, illegal markets and content
creation. He is the co-founder of the Ethical Gambling Forum in Gibraltar and
the UK.
John Dabill, Technical Director
Leads in Technical XR Development
John Dabill is a seasoned technology leader with a career that spans some of the world’s most pioneering companies in mobile innovation and immersive technology—including Ericsson, BlackBerry, Motorola, and most recently, HTC VIVE.
As part of HTCs EMEA leadership team, John played a key role in shaping the company’s XR and Spatial Computing strategy. Within the VIVERSE division, he led initiatives that helped drive enterprise adoption of immersive technologies, including a very successful Development Partner Program to support real-world XR applications.
Now working as an independent advisor, John partners with startups and scale-ups across the XR ecosystem, helping them navigate and unlock the transformative potential of immersive tech.
Chris and Mykala Bryan
Creative Director and Junior Designer
Chris has over 26 years experience working in the creative industry. A presentation and e-learning specialist with a flare for all things creative. Leading the creation of Community Care Gaming's visual and marketing assets as well as designing and developing the architecture and user experience of the CCG website and digital assets.
Chris' daughter Mykala also joins the team as our Junior Designer as she learns the trade and supports her father in the creation of design assets.
