transforming wellbeing and enrichment activities in care homes and home/domiciliary
care settings through the lease of VR equipment and the delivery of a Level 3
qualification in VR Healthcare for professionals.
Community Care Gaming is a trading
name of ESG Corporate Community Interest Company. We are incorporated as a
not-for-profit and with no share capital Community Interest Company (CIC). We
are independently regulated by the Office of the Regulator of Community
Interest Companies and registered with the Fundraising Regulator.
Born out of the lived experience of social isolation, loneliness and losing
family members to dementia; we are a small, kind and friendly team on a mission
to improve healthcare outcomes. Our ambition and social purpose is simple; we
want to work with partners to understand how virtual reality and gaming might
reduce loneliness and social isolation; reduce the risk factors for dementia;
and aid stroke survivors recovery.
There are many ways to become involved with Community Care Gaming.
With approval from our board and the Office of the Regulator of Community Interest Companies, we anticipate donating up to 25% of our surplus annually to charities in this space. The remainder of our surplus will be reinvested back in to our products, helping us to broaden our reach and further evaluate our impact.
